Half Dawn

Half Dawn delves into the entangled agreement between imposed and biotic regeneration, exploring ornate transformations facilitated by time and biological processes. At the heart of the piece, artificial and natural materials are cohabitants, calling attention to the complex relationship between human intervention and organic convalescence. As time unfolds in the space, the projections and sound interact asynchronously, temporally adjusting and tailoring individualized experiences with the work. Serving as a meditation on the fragility and resilience of our relationships with time, rest, and existence, Half Dawn also provides an opportunity to reflect on our direct correlation with cycles of ruination and renewal.
