The Inner Space and Outer Psyche is a series of video paintings featuring color-morphing abstract moving images. Each video is a unique composition combining shape, color, texture, and rhythm to create a dynamic optical experience. In addition to their aesthetic qualities, the video paintings in the series also have a meditative aspect, enabling viewers to enter into a state of reverie. Although this series was created in the video medium, the piece is not meant to be sat down and watched. Instead, due to its highly abstract and non-narrative nature, the work is more atmospheric and trance-like, something to surround an audience or be stared into. As a result, it is exhibited in multiple shifting and adaptive scales.
