Julian Suver

My work is largely informed by my background in hard goods, working in construction and welding as well as furniture. As a textile designer, I reflect on many of the qualities that have been important to me throughout my professional life, including investigations in materiality, quality of craftsmanship and unconventional problem solving. In my thesis collection, I express my vision of luxury clothing through both knitted and cut and sewn garments. Each piece is unique in its material, shape and method of construction and presents original imagery developed through a variety of media. I hope that you enjoy the work.
