This thesis proposes an approach to showcasing intangible heritage within museum spaces, specifically utilizing retail and hospitality spaces. By leveraging sensory engagement, storytelling, and cultural immersion, the aim is to bridge the gap between historical value and contemporary relevance.

Through analysis of existing museum amenities, research on intangible heritage, and establishing connections between these spaces and cultural narratives, the thesis seeks to enhance public enjoyment and foster cultural appreciation. The National Museum of Korea serves as the testing ground, demonstrating the applicability of this strategy within national museums.

Ultimately, by integrating intangible heritage into museum experiences, visitors are not only educated about the past but also encouraged to recognize the ongoing vibrancy of cultural traditions in their own lives.
