Hangzhou’s city center is the oldest part of the city, as well as the most suitable place for elderly living. The high-density living conditions caused by urbanization limited the relaxation spaces of Hangzhou’s elderly community into fragmented “wrinkle architectures.” This thesis integrates the “wrinkle architectures” of Hangzhou to improve the relaxation space and provide a better environment for in the elderly community of Hangzhou.
