Providence proclaimed itself the ‘creative capital’ in 2009, invoking entrepreneurship and revitalization. The Second Act reimagines the revitalization of the Art Deco Industrial Trust Building as a vast entrepreneurial melting pot for performing artists. Superman is envisioned as an incubator-style facility to foster collaboration and growth, both for the artist and the audience. It is a space to prepare, produce, and present work.



The bold yet respectful design re-establishes its connection with the city. It becomes the new marquee to the building, creating the energy within, and projecting it for the city.
