Merrick Adams

Abstract:

This artist book, composed of six letters written to artists, contains works created during my two-year graduate program degree. In this thesis, I use comedy as a weapon for disarming the church, political opponents, and my own ego. My work pulls the viewer into a dark and humorous world where internal battles reveal themselves.
