Suggested Layouts
We've developed some layouts that you might like to use. Here's how to build them. Feel free to reproduce them with your own content, mix & match, or ignore them completely.
1.
Minimum Layout
This is the default layout. One hero image (or video). Your name. Your thesis title. Your abstract. Done.
2.
Multi-Column Layout
Feature multiple images or projects with a clean and dynamic layout. Includes a hero image, images with caption text, as well as image zoom and image modal features.
3.
Single Column Layout
A single column of content in an infinite scroll. This example shows video, but you can use any kind of content. It also happens to demonstrate the endnotes feature, if you're curious.
4.
Essay + Carousel Layout
Want to feature writing? This layout begins with a series of images in a carousel, followed by a longer, two-column essay.
5.
Stacking Layout
Hero images stack on scroll. This layout also demonstrates a more poetic text treatment. In this case, it’s an interview.
6.
Extended Article Layout
Integrate text, images, and diagrams. Organized with headings and subheadings, this layout divides content into sections that can be arranged and populated to suit your needs.
7.
Immersive Layout
Want to create an experience? This is less a suggested layout, and more of a demonstration of how you can use the platform to create something less gridded and more experiential.
