The function of my pavilion is to exhibit all LA 2028 Olympic Medals (1500). for the duration of the games, the medals will gradually decrease in number until it becomes empty by the end of the Games. A reference to the Olympic torch, one of the most important symbols of the Olympic Games since the flame continues to burn for the duration of the games, until it is extinguished during the Olympic closing ceremony. My pavilion is made of recycled plastic, glass, and constructed by a modular wooden system designed for disassembly, that can be prefabricated, flat-packed and quickly assembled on site. This ensures a more sustainable and CO2-reducing construction method and a circular approach to the management and life cycle of the pavilion. As well as engaging the LA 2028 sustainability goals.
