Palumbo

Lukas Palumbo is an illustrator, designer, and world-builder inspired by the hand hewn past. He looks most often to the 17th and 18th centuries for inspiration, but enjoys art and objects from all eras of antiquity. His luxurious images invite you to lose yourself in a land of beautiful extravagance, and undying leisure. Lukas’ unique practice allows him to bring together the brilliant line-work of engravings, the seductive glow of varnished oil paintings, and the whimsical vibrance of textiles in each of his illustrations, through the use of his dip pen, watercolor and gouache.
