For my degree project, I want to create a sumptuous, lavish home space where I do all my day dreamings. I am interested in designing a series of Kidult furniture and home objects to create an immersive world for those adults who always have curiosity and keep a childlike heart.

The Circus Chair

Maple Wood
76'' x 18" x 18"

Circus Chair is inspired by my feeling of circus. I tried to achieve the winsomeness of the show into a chair form by having abnormal height, flamboyant ornaments and playful seat carving. The maple wood was carefully turned and carved with keen attention to details. It was dyed with crimson aniline dye and finished with Polycrylic to make it shine.

The Lipstick Safe

Lipstick Mine is a container to store lipsticks, it is inspired by the bank safe door and gold mine. When the heavy metal door is opened, the gold mine is shown, and lipsticks could be placed in the ''mine''.
