Extract of my thoughts with Philippe Petit:
“ This is a very stormy day here in Providence,
Wouldn’t be a nice day for tightrope, but I sure you enjoy practicing under the rain,
I love playing soccer under the rain,
What a beautiful element, rain, water, water;
I was listening to a passage of “Terre des Hommes” of Saint-Exupery and he speaks of these Moors, these desert kings who come for the first time in Switzerland, in the mountains, to witness a waterfall. They are so mesmerized and they can’t believe that God is so generous here in Europe, whereas, for them in the desert they walk kilometers to get water. What a sight it must have been for them.
Probably as powerful as seeing a small human figure lost among the clouds, between the two tallest towers in the world.”
